I had a very disappointing experience at Silverbell Golf Course. The course conditions were far below what I expected. The fairways were mostly dead grass and mud, making for a poor playing experience. What made the day even worse was my interaction with the marshal, Frankie Coronado. He incorrectly accused my group of playing behind pace after confusing our tee time with another group. When I brought him proof, including my pace-per-hole times, photos, and confirmation from the group behind us, he refused to acknowledge his mistake. Instead of listening to the facts, he became argumentative, aggressive, and dismissive. A marshal’s job is to keep play moving while treating golfers with respect. Owning up to an honest mistake would have resolved the situation immediately, but that never happened. Between the poor course conditions and the unprofessional treatment, I won’t be returning or recommending this course.

Fairways and greens felt nice and well kept. Rough was in terrible shape. Entire course stank of disgusting sewage water, not only is this gross but also a health concern. I will never be coming back to this course. Only left 1 star bc greens rolled nice. Do not come here if you care about your health.

Played yesterday for the first time and my expectations were blown away. Sure it’s a muni and it is what it is, but the course was in fantastic shape from tee to green, pace was good, people were super nice and the course is pretty fun and wide open. I’ll definitely play again soon

Honestly, really didn't enjoy playing golf here too much. The condition of the course is not ideal, especially the greens, several greens have "bunkers" on it, if you know what I mean. Hardly can name one of the 18 holes that the design is good, pretty much all the holes are straight, not even dog leg left or right.

Silverbell Golf Course has never let me down in all the times I have been there. Now, let me first start off by saying that I am an amateur golfer for what it's worth. I don't ever talk like I'm a PGA Card carrying member, and I might lose a ball here and there when there is water, or if I'm playing at Star Pass. Out there for fun and relaxation. Silverbell provides the wide open spaces I need if I vear a little right or left. It's a city maintained course and they do an exceptional job keeping the greens nice. There is some yellow winter grass on the fairways, but you can't water in the winter in the desert. It's all about "Water Conservation" in Tucson. Lastly, during this time of the year when you are out on the course you will come to know why Tucson is the place to be during winter. Also, a shout out to the cart people, Saw them 4 times on day where there were about 150 golfers out! Recommend :) Please like the review after viewing! :)
